The new art media, digital art, also know as computer art, was introduced in around 1970. But now, the real boundary seems to be people’s fear of changes. Many angry artists claims that digital art and traditional art are not, in fact, equivalent at all. This has been one of the most hot topics in the media ever since. “Digital art is not real art, it’s cheating!” some argued. Although the waves and ripples have slowly calmed down over the years, digital art vs. traditional art remains a very popular debate. Is one art media really better than the other?
